3. What Information We Collect
We collect only the information you voluntarily provide via the quote request form:
- Your name
- Your company name (if applicable)
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The pickup location and destination of your shipment
- The shipment type and details you provide
We also retain, for technical and security purposes, your IP address and browser type at the time of submission.
4. Why We Collect It
This information is used solely to:
- Prepare a transport quote in response to your request;
- Communicate with you about this request;
- If applicable, arrange and invoice the requested transport.
We never sell, rent or share your information with third parties for commercial or marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to measure its audience (visitor count, pages viewed, traffic sources). This tool places cookies that allow Google to produce anonymous statistics.
In compliance with Law 25, these cookies are only activated if you have consented via the banner displayed on your first visit. You may change your preference at any time by clicking Cookie Preferences.
Information collected by Google Analytics is anonymized (truncated IP) and used only to understand site usage and improve it.
6. Who Your Information Is Shared With
Your information is not shared with any third parties for commercial purposes. It is however processed by the following technical providers, strictly to operate the site and forward your request:
- Hébergement Web Canada — site host and mail server (data stored in Canada);
- Bell Canada — provider of the info@transport3000.com email;
- Google (Google Analytics) — only if you have consented to analytics cookies. Google may process this data outside Canada.
7. Retention Period
Your submission information is kept as long as necessary to respond to your request and, if you become a client, to manage the business relationship and comply with our accounting and tax obligations (generally 7 years after the last transaction).
Requests that do not result in a contract are retained for a maximum of 24 months, then deleted.
8. Security
Information transmitted via our form is sent over a secure connection (HTTPS). It is received by email and stored in password-protected systems. We apply reasonable measures to prevent loss, theft or unauthorized access.
9. Your Rights
Under Quebec Law 25, you have the right to:
- Access: know what information we hold about you;
- Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdrawal of consent: ask us to stop using your information;
- Deletion: ask us to delete your information (subject to legal obligations);
- Portability: obtain a copy of your information in a structured, commonly used format;
- Complaint: file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you believe your rights are not being respected.

10. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in our practices or regulations. The last updated date at the top of this page indicates when changes were made. We invite you to review it periodically.
11. Applicable Law
This policy is governed by the laws in force in Quebec, in particular the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector (CQLR, c. P-39.1), as amended by Law 25.
